  • Over 50 stakeholders from significant technology companies, universities, foundations, and organizations contributed, including Tecnológico de Monterrey, UDD, Santillana, CAF, Cetic.br, CENIA, and ECLAC.
  • The observatory aims to address foundational learning challenges in the region, especially in reading and mathematics, by integrating artificial intelligence technologies.

  • Participants were urged by Mendes to join this collaborative effort to innovate in favor of educational future across the region.
  • The initiative will officially launch on 14 April 2026 at ECLAC headquarters in Santiago, Chile, marking a pivotal step in regional collaboration.
