IIIT-Delhi Introduces Industry-Backed Course On Artificial Intelligence Fabrics

IIIT-Delhi has introduced a new course titled “Networks for AI/ML Systems” in partnership with Marvell Technology, the Indian affiliate of Marvell.
The course is co-designed and co-taught by Dr. Rinku Shah from IIIT-Delhi and Abd Mohammad Kamaluddin, Director of Marvell.
It will include ongoing technical support from Marvell’s engineers and architects.
In collaboration with Marvell, IIIT-Delhi is also involved in research initiatives centered on AI networking and systems.
The course aims to address system-level challenges related to AI/ML, focusing on AI-focused networking, CXL-based memory systems, and AI-scale simulation.
Positioned as one of the earliest such courses globally, it is intended to be first-of-its-kind in India.
The course supports national priorities in AI computing and semiconductor capabilities, helping IIIT-Delhi lead in next-generation AI systems education and research.
The program is designed to cover topics not typically included in standard curricula, providing students with unique, hands-on experience.
