As artificial intelligence moves from pilot projects to enterprise-wide deployment, organisations are facing a new challenge: building teams that can implement, scale, and manage AI systems in real-world business environments. Rather than relying solely on external hiring, enterprises are increasingly investing in capability building across AI, cloud, cybersecurity, leadership, and certification-led learning to prepare their workforce for this transition. This shift is reflected in edForce’s FY2025-26 enterprise learning data, which shows that Agentic AI training recorded the strongest growth among all learning categories, increasing 100% year-on-year to 57,536 learners. The rise indicates that enterprises are moving beyond AI experimentation and focusing on production-ready AI capabilities. The data also highlights growing investments in foundational technology skills required to support AI adoption. Cloud Computing training grew 29% to 41,876 learners, while DevOps training increased 26% to 31,211 learners. Cybersecurity training rose 39% to 25,448 learners, reflecting the importance of security readiness as organisations expand digital and AI initiatives. At the same time, certification-linked learning grew 36% to 38,562 certifications, pointing to a greater focus on measurable skill validation. Leadership training emerged as the second-fastest growing category, increasing 46% to 11,965 learners as organisations prepare business leaders alongside technical teams to drive technology transformation initiatives.Commenting on the findings, Ravi Kaklasaria, Co-Founder & CEO of edForce, said, “Enterprise learning is becoming increasingly outcome-driven. The strong growth in Agentic AI, Certifications, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, and Leadership training shows that organisations are focusing on building capabilities that directly support AI adoption and business transformation.”The FY2025-26 data indicates that enterprises are approaching AI adoption as a broader organisational transformation rather than a standalone technology initiative. Alongside AI skills, organisations are investing in the infrastructure, security, deployment, leadership, and validated learning capabilities required to translate technology investments into long-term business outcomes.
