Global Dialogue on AI Governance, Geneva, 6–7 July

The UN Global Dialogue on AI Governance is an inclusive platform for all governments, private sector, academia, and civil society.
The first session of the AI Dialogue is a two-day event in Geneva, Switzerland including high-level segments, thematic sessions, and side events.
Key participants include António Guterres, UN Secretary-General, and leaders like Rein Tammsaar and Doreen Bogdan-Martin from the UN and ITU.
The Independent International Scientific Panel on Artificial Intelligence will present its preliminary report during this session.
Events take place at the Palexpo convention centre in Geneva from 1-2 July and will be livestreamed on UN WebTV.
Media registration is open until 25 June, with early registration recommended for accreditation. Participation requires organizational affiliation.
The AI Dialogue runs concurrently with the WSIS Forum and ITU’s AI for Good Global Summit, allowing media accreditation access to all three events.
Established by the UN General Assembly, the AI Dialogue is co-facilitated by multiple UN entities including UNESCO, ITU, and the UN Office for Digital and Emerging Technologies.
