Congressional Fly-in, AI on Agenda as NMPF Board Gathers

A workshop on Artificial Intelligence (AI) will be a major focus of the upcoming June board meeting of the National Milk Producers Federation (NMPF).
The meeting will also feature a legislative fly-in open to both Young Cooperators and NMPF board members, focusing on key agricultural issues.
Committee meetings will precede the main event, including sessions from the Immigration Task Force, Political Action Committee, Economic Policy Committee, and Scholarship Committee.
Deputy Secretary of Agriculture Stephen Vaden and Ambassador Julie Callahan are scheduled to provide insights on the current agriculture economy and trade landscape.
A bipartisan PAC fundraising breakfast will feature representatives Tony Wied (R-WI) and Josh Riley (D-NY).
An update from Dairy Management Inc. will be presented by CEO Barb O’Brien and NMPF Board Member Charles Krause.

The NMPF Young Cooperators annual fly-in coincides with the board meeting, focusing on topics such as agricultural labor solutions for dairy and supporting legislation like the DAIRY PRIDE Act, among others.
