Lone Star man arrested after using AI to create child porn images, police say

Jesus Aleman Jr., a 40-year-old Lone Star man, has been arrested and held at Morris County Jail on charges of possessing child pornography.
Lone Star police received a tip from the North Texas Crimes Against Children Task Force about Aleman using AI to create child pornography images, specifically the Grok chatbot.
During a search warrant, officers found and seized Aleman’s cell phone which contained over 1,000 images of illegal child pornography.
Aleman pleaded guilty to possessing child pornography in 2015, and due to this prior conviction, the current case is now forwarded to the U.S. attorney’s office for prosecution.
He is listed as a registered sex offender in Texas with a moderate risk level, required to register annually for life.
Aleman’s arrest was part of Operation Soteria Shield, an initiative run by the FBI’s Dallas Division and several Texan police departments that led to the arrest of 276 individuals and the rescue of 89 children.
Agencies involved in the operation included Lone Star police, Mount Pleasant police, Morris County Sheriff’s Office, Ore City Police Department, Hawk Cove Police Department, and FBI agents.
