De Anza College Launches Associate Degree in Applied AI

De Anza College will introduce Silicon Valley’s first associate degree in applied artificial intelligence and six additional AI-focused credentials this fall.
The new AI programs aim to benefit both students and professionals, offering diverse pathways to learn about AI, including foundational and advanced certifications.
The curriculum emphasizes ethical AI development and responsible practice.
De Anza is also launching two new associate in science degrees: automotive service and repair, and engineering with an electrical engineering track.
The college’s new certificate offerings span various fields, including mathematics and language education.
Additional new programs include animated film, professional photography, journalism, nonprofit management, and community impact.
