CAIS Integrates Anthropic’s Claude for Advisors

CAIS, an alternative investment platform, has integrated Anthropic’s Claude as a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server to enhance its AI capabilities for independent financial advisors.
The integration allows advisors to query fund data, perform performance analysis, and access portfolio insights directly within their existing workspace without switching platforms.
This integration is currently available to a select group of advisors within the CAIS network and signifies a major step forward in CAIS’ mission to empower advisors with comprehensive tools on a single platform.
CAIS emphasizes that artificial intelligence (AI) is foundational to their ongoing efforts, building on existing CAISey AI solutions designed to streamline alternative investment information and capital markets.
CAIS is also developing multiple interface layers to support its “Alts Engine” strategy, aiming to automate workflows in alternative investments through its AI-driven APIs and integrations.
The company has introduced Compass, a portfolio-construction tool, and is working towards integrating alternative investments in third-party managed account platforms, alongside partnerships like the recent collaboration with RedBlack for rebalancing and trading.
This news follows a separate announcement from competitor iCapital, which also announced a partnership with Anthropic to advance its own AI strategy.
