Anduril Raises $5 Billion in Funding and Is Valued at $61 Billion

Anduril, a defense tech firm specializing in AI-backed weapons, announced it has secured $5 billion in new funding, valuing the company at $61 billion, doubling its previous valuation of $30.5 billion.
This latest funding round was led by long-time investors Thrive Capital and Andreessen Horowitz.
Founded in 2017 by Palmer Luckey and others, Anduril has developed various advanced military technologies including autonomous submarines, jets, weaponized drones, and augmented reality helmets.
The company aims to transform American national defense and has made significant strides in autonomous warfare.
Since the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, Anduril has tested AI-backed drones and developed several pilotless aircraft.
Anduril signed a landmark 10-year, $20 billion deal with the Army in March and is part of a consortium developing a $185 billion space-interceptor missile system for the U.S. government.
The company’s revenue increased more than twofold to $2.2 billion in 2025, it has expanded its workforce, and completed its first international program for the Royal Australian Navy.
Anduril opened a $1 billion factory in Ohio to accelerate the production of its weapons systems.
