The Sports Excellence Center in the Dominican Republic inaugurated its first Artificial Intelligence Course for the application of AI in training planning and sports analysis

- Mr. Cristóbal Marte, Vice President of the FIVB, expressed joy at the participation of many coaches in the opening ceremony and encouraged their use of the tool for athlete preparation to improve competition results. He also commended Professor Nelson Ramírez for his efforts in training sports personnel.
- Engineer Garibaldi Bautista, President of the Dominican Olympic Committee, highlighted the gathering of approximately 60 coaches from 21 sports for the Artificial Intelligence course. He noted that 21 federations have confirmed their participation and praised the federations’ support.
- Professor Nelson Ramírez expressed satisfaction with the participation of coaches from Panama, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Venezuela, Colombia, and the Dominican Republic in the first activity of the newly elevated Center of Sports Excellence.
- The course is supported by several organizations including Opal Jeans, INEFI, the Ministry of Sports, the Olympic Committee, and the NORCECA Confederation.
