• Four Nigerian technology startups – Bani, MasteryHive AI, Regxta, and Termii – were selected to join the 10th cohort of the Google for Startups Accelerator Africa.
• These startups were chosen from nearly 2,600 applicants, with an acceptance rate of less than 1%, highlighting Nigeria’s digital innovation ecosystem.
• The selected startups employ Artificial Intelligence to address significant local and regional challenges, including cross-border payments, fraud detection, financial inclusion, and reliable financial messaging.
• The hybrid program, running from April 13th to June 19th, 2026, will offer dedicated guidance, mentorship, and technical workshops to the 15 participating pan-African companies.
• Since its launch in 2018, the Google for Startups Accelerator Africa program has supported 106 startups across 17 African countries, enabling them to collectively raise over $263 million and create more than 2,800 jobs.
