Chrome adds a function to speed up commands to artificial intelligence

Google has introduced a new Skill in Chrome to help users save and reuse frequently used prompts for generative AI chatbots in a simplified manner.
The Skill allows users to easily perform tasks like calculating a recipe’s macronutrients, creating vegan substitutes, comparing product details, or scanning documents for key information with a single click.
Once a prompt is saved as a Skill, it can be easily recalled in the Gemini AI on Chrome either through a URL input or by clicking a ‘+’ button.
The Skills adhere to Chrome’s security and privacy standards, ensuring explicit user authorization for sensitive actions and incorporating robust multi-layered protection systems.
Implementation of the Skill feature is currently underway and will roll out to English-speaking users on Chrome for Mac, Windows, and ChromeOS, with no details yet available for an Italian release.
Saved Skills are accessible across any device where Chrome is running and using the same account, and a library of pre-configured actions for common tasks will also be available.
