Screen Device Requirement: The feature is initially available for Amazon Echo Show 8 or larger devices with a large screen.
Natural Language Processing: Alexa+ supports natural language requests, allowing users to choose restaurants by cuisine type or specify favorite spots.
Menu Matching and Special Requests: The assistant can match generic requests to the most similar menu items and accommodate special dietary requests like “no onions.”
Account Connection: Users must first connect their GrubHub or Uber Eats accounts to use the ordering feature.
Real-time Updates: The screen shows the order details, and any changes are displayed in real time.
Availability to All US Customers: The Alexa+ subscription was made available to all US customers earlier this year.
