The affordability of deploying such AI, costing only $5,000 for Tenzai’s AI models, poses a threat if misused by malicious actors or less savory actors.
Tenzai’s cofounder and CEO, Pavel Gurvich, advocates for regulating the sale of powerful AI hacking models to limit their misuse by individuals who may not have good intentions.
While AI now plays a critical role in hacking with the potential for significant impact, Tenzai’s AI never reached the top spot, indicating that top human hackers still outperform AI in these competitions.
