AI Procurement Intel Platform NationGraph Raises $18M

NationGraph, a government technology firm, has raised $18 million in a Series A funding round, pushing their total funding to $22.5 million, aiming to use AI to streamline public sector procurement.
The firm’s AI-driven platform aggregates data and intelligence from various state, regional, and local agencies to provide suppliers with insights into contracting opportunities and purchasing trends.
This market includes over 110,000 agencies with diverse budget and purchasing cycles, presenting numerous untapped opportunities for data mining via AI.
The company’s CEO and co-founder, Kimia Hamidi, sees government procurement as dramatically underserved and fragmented, believing AI can transform the process into a more accessible and transparent marketplace.
NationGraph isn’t the only player in this emerging field; for example, Starbridge has raised $42 million in efforts to offer similar services.
The new funding will be used to enhance engineering capabilities and expand the go-to-market team to further penetrate the government procurement sector.
