Shawn Tuma Discusses AI for TexasBarCLE Ethics Session

Attorney Shawn Tuma, co-led a presentation at the TexasBarCLE’s Advanced Real Estate Strategies Course.
The presentation, held over two days on December 11, 2025, focused on “Strategies for the Ethical Incorporation of Technology in Your Practice – Part 1: What is AI?”
The session provided detailed information on artificial intelligence, paving the way for a future follow-up on its ethical use.
The event offered attendees up to 10.5 hours of MCLE (Maryland Continuing Legal Education) credit which can now be accessed as a webcast replay.
Shawn Tuma is both the Office Managing Partner at the firm’s Plano office and co-leads its Cyber | Data | Artificial Intelligence | Emerging Technology Practice Group.
In addition to his leadership roles, Shawn maintains a busy practice addressing complex aspects of cybersecurity, data privacy, breach response, regulatory compliance, and more.
He increasingly consults on the legal and ethical governance of AI systems, designing AI governance programs that align with global regulatory standards and frameworks.
