Penn State Berks Plans ‘AI in Manufacturing’ Summit

Penn State Berks is hosting the first-ever AI in Manufacturing Summit targeting small- and medium-sized manufacturers and technology professionals.
The summit aims to provide insights on the adoption and use of artificial intelligence in manufacturing, focusing on how it’s transforming the industry and aiding competitiveness.
Key speakers and a panel discussion will share practical insights and resources for AI adoption tailored for smaller manufacturers.
The event will feature hands-on workshops to discuss AI tools, practices such as prompt engineering, and how to build AI agents.
The summit includes a tour of Penn State Berks’ Manufacturing and Innovation Learning Lab.
The event will cover themes such as leadership capacity, workforce readiness, and organizational infrastructure essential for AI adoption.
The summit is scheduled for February 6 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., costs $30, and includes lunch and a networking reception. Advanced registration is required.
