The AI technology has decreased return trips due to missed pickups by 42%, facilitating a more streamlined process for carriers and preventing a domino effect on other freight schedules.
The AI agents have liberated C.H. Robinson teams from spending excessive hours manually tracking down missed pickups, with the technology saving over 350 hours of manual labor daily.
The deployment of AI has resulted in shippers’ freight moving up to a day faster, thanks to improved efficiency and minimized delays from missed pickups.
C.H. Robinson utilizes a strategic ‘Lean AI’ approach, deploying AI agents only where they maximize tangible business outcomes, reducing unnecessary use of AI across their operations.
