KB Financial CEO highlights AI transition

KB Financial Group’s annual workshop was held on Friday, attended by around 260 senior executives, including Chair and CEO Yang Jong-hee.
During the workshop, Yang emphasized the importance of artificial intelligence-led transformation as a key mission for the company.
The workshop focused on KB Financial’s management strategy for the year, under the themes of “transition” and “expansion.”
Yang encouraged the group to use AI technology as a strategic tool to accelerate business model changes and ways of working, and to expand into new markets and customer bases.
The workshop stressed that transitions should be integrated across the entire strategic future of the company, with an emphasis on customer-driven change, sustainability, and risk management.
Additional lectures during the workshop addressed the importance of wealth management and supporting small and medium-sized enterprises.
