Using an unordered list, summarize the following article with between 4 and 8 key points. The learning paths are designed to meet today’s cybersecurity and risk management challenges. Reminder: Submit proposals for the forum’s Innovation Hub, such as security and compliance solutions, by Monday, Jan. 12.01/08/2026 4:00 P.M.2.5 minute readCyber threats continue to evolve — and the strategies organizations use to manage them must evolve just as quickly.Whether you’re responsible for safeguarding systems or leading organizational strategy, ACA International’s Cybersecurity & Risk Forum, held virtually March 3–5, is designed to help organizations protect sensitive data, reduce risk, and respond effectively when incidents occur. As the three-day event approaches, understanding how the forum is structured can help attendees get the most value from their experience. Two Tracks, Two PerspectivesDays one and two of the online forum will feature a new format with two distinct learning tracks, each designed to address the different responsibilities involved in managing cybersecurity and risk across an organization. The tracks were made specifically for the unique cybersecurity responsibilities of each audience — IT and Security Teams, and Operational Leaders, Executives and Owners. Attendees should follow the track that best aligns with their role.IT and Security Teams Track:This track, titled Code Red Drill: Building Your Incident Playbook, focuses on hands-on defense and is built for professionals who manage systems, monitor threats, and support day-to-day cybersecurity operations. In the hands-on, two-hour workshop, participants will build a complete incident response plan from the ground up. Guided by real-world examples, this session walks through each phase of incident response detection, escalation, containment, recovery, and post-incident review.Designed to strengthen real-world skills, this track equips technical teams with practical tools and approaches they can apply immediately — leaving attendees with a ready-to-implement plan and the clarity and confidence to act before an incident occurs. The Operational Leaders, Executives and Owners Track:This track, titled Cybersecurity Confidence Check: Closing Gaps Before They Become Risks, is designed for those who set direction, allocate resources, and oversee organizational readiness. It centers on identifying strategic oversights — such as unseen gaps, legacy processes, AI adoption challenges, and misaligned priorities — that can quietly increase risk across an organization.Sessions in the Operational Leaders, Executives and Owners Track emphasize strategic decision-making during cyber incidents; aligning security practices across teams and departments; understanding risk exposure and organizational impact; and building confidence in governance, oversight, and response planning.Rather than focusing on technical execution, this track guides leaders through a strategic assessment of their organization’s cyber resilience, helping bridge the disconnect between business goals and technical controls. Attendees gain a clearer understanding of where vulnerabilities originate, how to translate technical findings into actionable business decisions, and how to strengthen accountability before issues escalate into incidents.Get Involved on Day 3 of the EventDay three of the Cybersecurity & Risk Forum shifts the focus to innovation and collaboration across the industry.ACA is inviting companies and organizations to submit proposals by Monday, Jan. 12 for the Cybersecurity & Risk Forum Innovation Hub — a dedicated space highlighting cutting-edge solutions that strengthen security, enhance compliance, and support operational risk management across the credit and collection industry.Organizations that deliver innovative tools, technologies, or strategies that help agencies operate more securely and effectively are encouraged to participate. Proposals are due Monday, Jan. 12.Learn more and submit a proposal here. What’s NextIn the weeks leading up to the Cybersecurity & Risk Forum, ACA will spotlight individual sessions from both tracks, offering a closer look at the topics, speakers, and takeaways attendees can expect.Whether you’re responsible for managing systems or steering strategy, the Cybersecurity & Risk Forum offers targeted learning designed to support stronger, more resilient organizations.Register for the Cybersecurity and Risk Forum here.Remember, subscribe to ACA Daily and Member Alerts under your My ACA Assistant profile when logged in to acainternational.org.
