The upcoming Community Forum on February 24 will feature three leaders in the field of A.I. to discuss its impact on the workplace and its societal implications.
Local speakers include Steve Monaghan, former Chief Information Officer (CIO) for the County of Nevada; Technology Lawyer Eric Little; and CSU Professor and A.I. expert Sasha Sidorkin.
Terry McAteer, a retired Nevada County Superintendent of Schools, will moderate the forum and emphasize the societal transformative potential of A.I.
The event will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in auditorium room N-12 on the Sierra College Nevada County campus.
This Community Forum is sponsored by the Sierra College Foundation’s Nevada County campus and is part of a series aimed at addressing local issues and topics of interest to the community.
The forum is free to attend and open to the public, with free parking provided by the college.
