Together with its Glasswing partners \u2014 including Amazon, Microsoft and Google \u2014 Anthropic said it is drafting an industry framework to score jailbreak severity across four criteria: capability gain over existing tools, breadth of tasks affected, ease of weaponisation and discoverability. In February, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth designated Anthropic a \u201csupply chain risk\u201d \u2014 a label historically applied to companies such as Huawei \u2014 after contract negotiations over military use of Claude broke down.
