\nResidents, families, seniors, nonprofit organizations, churches, educators, and small business owners are invited to attend a free Community Cybersecurity Awareness Presentation, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Conference Center, 60 Entrada Drive.
\nThis free educational event is being presented through a partnership between L Tech, Tech Share, and First United Methodist Church of Los Alamos. The goal of the event is to provide practical, real-world cybersecurity education that helps individuals and organizations better protect themselves from online threats.
\nAs cybercrime continues to increase across the nation, individuals of all ages are facing growing risks from phishing attacks, identity theft, online scams, social engineering, account compromises, and financial fraud. This event has been created to help community members recognize these threats and learn practical steps they can take to improve their online safety.
\nAttendees will participate in presentations, demonstrations, interactive activities, educational games, and question-and-answer sessions covering topics such as:<\/p>\n
