\nHackers are heavily targeting the manufacturing sector to extort ransoms by threatening costly factory shutdowns, and they are exploiting new AI-related vulnerabilities, such as “prompt injection” via hidden text in emails.
\nHe cited the CrowdStrike 2026 Global Threat Report, which noted that attackers are becoming faster and more stealthy, with an 89% increase in attacks by AI-enabled adversaries, while 82% of detections involve malware-free or traceless attacks.

\nAs technology and cyberthreats advance rapidly, Thailand is facing a shortage of around 20,000 cybersecurity professionals, making it expensive and difficult for companies to manage security in-house.
