Someone under the radar, at least to me. Cyber security stocks have fallen back into favor with investors and it makes a ton of sense. Inside the action here, Crowdstrike is up 41% in a month. Palo Alto Networks has gained 35% and SailPoint, 31%. As you can see right there on my custom Alpha space dashboard, the month gains in these stocks are through the roof. Major, major gains. 00:46 Speaker A Wall Street analysts have come out more bullish on the space of late while these stocks have been hit the past year on fears models from Anthropic would render their businesses totally obsolete. There appears to be a narrative shift underway. Analyst at Wolf Research put it best, I think in a recent upgrade on Crown Strike. They believe Anthropic uh their Mythos AI model is a catalyst for a new wave of AI driven cybersecurity demand. Amanda, Inez and Brooke are still here. These stocks are through the roof. And I even look at Crowdstrike. I’m on my Alpha space platform right now. Past four quarters, over 20% revenue growth man and I think like we were talking about with a salesforce and a snowflake investors forgot somehow strong some of the growth rates were and could be over the next few quarters for a lot of software companies even like a crowd strike. 01:46 Speaker B Really impressive, strong organic growth trajectory. It’s a strong secular tailwind for the industry in general when you think about the buildout of a gentic AI, the the budgets for cybersecurity have to scale as the AI story scales as well. So, you know, threat detection, prevention, all those all those components matter as AI agents proliferate. that’s really at the heart of it, I think the thesis. And so none of these companies are cheap per se, but this strong organic growth backdrop uh feels like a no-brainer for investors. You don’t have to get too creative uh relative to the last segment we were talking about and I don’t think you can go wrong with the category uh leader like Crowdstrike. 02:40 Speaker A um in a market that’s going to be so discerning for software companies, is it is it okay to pay up to own this growth? 02:46 Speaker B Uh well, I think the answer is it depends on what type of growth and where the growth is coming from. So I don’t I don’t think I would say yes across the board as a wild generalization, but we’re trying to be very thoughtful about where we uh pay up for this kind of growth. And I think the cyberspace feels like kind of a no-brainer in this environment. 03:13 Speaker A And as uh every CEO I talked to, they’re so excited about rolling out agents throughout the organization. One executive I had lunch with early in the week said uh they’re rolling out chief of staff for their uh many of the executives on their team, which I thought was interesting. But I just took away this and as I mean that’s just more risk being brought inside of enterprises and you’re gonna need cybersecurity. 03:31 Speaker C That’s right, because all these agents need security, they need credentials and this is why Wall Street is bullish on these stocks. You’ve got Palo Alto networks that’s pivoting towards protecting autonomous AI workloads, then you also have uh sales point. that’s rallied 25% over the last month and they have this a gentic fabric, so they secure AI identities because of course these AI agents need these credentials, these identities to be secure. So this is what’s driving all of this uh stock performance that you’ve been seeing. And you even have Morgan Stanley that recently put out a note basically saying that Salesforce in Sale point is in top AI security pick alongside Okta and Crowdstrike as well. So all of these stocks really surging on this autonomous AI workload. 04:16 Speaker A Yeah, Brooke, and important at least based on what I have been able to see, Crowdstrike and Palo Alto being called out in particular because they got uh early access to these frontier models. So they’re able to uh transform their platforms ahead of a lot of their competitors. 04:36 Speaker D And I think that that’s a key tactic here. It’s it’s first mover advantage. We see so many companies, even say Robin Hood using agents for trading and credit card platform to get ahead of the competition and that’s exactly what they’re doing here. When I was reading a note just about how important and integral this would be as Amanda and Neza are pointing out, it seems like this is one of the biggest catalysts that the Skyber security space has had in about 20 years because of just the need, the demand that obviously these companies saw ahead of maybe others who are now have one foot ahead of the competition and that’s really a key here. I also do want to point out that while we are talking about these particular stocks, I thought it was really interesting. Amanda before had pointing out that ETFs are growing in popularity as a way to get into these bigger names. And earlier this week we heard from Torst and Slock about the number of ETFs listed uh is outpacing the number of US stocks and one ETF that I am watching in this space is first trust NAZAC Cybersecurity ETF and that’s up about 21%. So it’s not just those two companies that’s gaining a share here. It’s also investors looking, how can I get a bundle of all these companies who are making waves in this space and try to get ahead that way?
<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
Do cybersecurity stocks still have room to run as AI scales up? https:\/\/finance.yahoo.com\/video\/do-cybersecurity-stocks-still-have-room-to-run-as-ai-scales-up-144938848.html Publish Date:…<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":221778,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"fifu_image_url":"https:\/\/s.yimg.com\/ny\/api\/res\/1.2\/dpgOk8pXeJZWctdYolrX6w--\/YXBwaWQ9aGlnaGxhbmRlcjt3PTEyMDA7aD02NzU-\/https:\/\/d29szjachogqwa.cloudfront.net\/images\/user-uploaded\/ae1702f7-9f77-4117-a92c-dec29b6c3608_c370b78388cc15bf44170b415d871f450ef1fe2953bb6eacf2cf4d56c230a81b.jpg","fifu_image_alt":"","footnotes":""},"categories":[15],"tags":[26,24],"class_list":["post-221777","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-cybersecurity","tag-ai","tag-cybersecurity"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/testing.news-you-need.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/221777"}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/testing.news-you-need.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/testing.news-you-need.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/testing.news-you-need.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/testing.news-you-need.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=221777"}],"version-history":[{"count":1,"href":"https:\/\/testing.news-you-need.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/221777\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":221779,"href":"https:\/\/testing.news-you-need.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/221777\/revisions\/221779"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/testing.news-you-need.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/221778"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/testing.news-you-need.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=221777"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/testing.news-you-need.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=221777"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/testing.news-you-need.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=221777"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
