plans to introduce artificial intelligence (AI), data analytics, and other emerging subjects into the Chartered Accountancy (CA) curriculum.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>The initiative aims to adapt the curriculum to changing industry requirements and modern professional practices in light of the increasing use of technology.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>ICAI President, Prasanna Kumar D, highlighted the importance of AI and data analytics for future accountants, noting these skills are crucial for both employment and practice in the field.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Subjects like AI, data analytics, ESG, sustainability, and forensic auditing, currently not a part of the CA curriculum, are slated for integration.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>ICAI has established a Committee for Review of Education and Training (CRET) to assess and recommend changes in the CA syllabus, practical training, and other areas.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>The committee will aim to integrate technological and professional advancements into the CA education framework.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>The CRET committee&#8217;s work is anticipated to be completed by December, with the final recommendations opened for public feedback and discussion.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>The updated curriculum aims to modernize CA education, providing students with exposure to emerging technologies and strengthening their professional
