Using a Capture the Flag (CTF) format, teams of three to five students tackled challenges created by Lockheed Martin cybersecurity engineers, including cryptography, reverse engineering, web exploits, forensics, open\u2011source intelligence, and cybersecurity awareness \u2014 all within a high\u2011energy, three\u2011hour time limit.<br \/>\nAcross both Canadian locations, the event welcomed 14 high schools, 58 students, and nine coaches.<\/p>\n<p> In Kanata, 12 teams from local high schools competed closely, with top honours going to Team CB1 (Colonel By Secondary School), followed by Team EOM2 (Earl of March Secondary School) and Team CB4 (Colonel By Secondary School).<br \/>\nIn Dartmouth, students from two high schools demonstrated strong teamwork and technical skill, with West Bedford and Team ctrl\u2011alt\u2011defeat (Citadel High School) earning top placements.<\/p>\n<p> While students competed, Lockheed Martin volunteers hosted \u201cCoaches Corner\u201d sessions for teachers and coaches, sharing insights into cybersecurity careers, skill development, and pathways to future roles at Lockheed Martin.<br \/>\nGlobally, CyberQuest\u00ae 2026 marked the program\u2019s 10th anniversary, hosting competitions across 15 locations worldwide, including two virtual events.
