The Retail & Hospitality Information Sharing and Analysis Centre (RH-ISAC) and the Retail Council of Canada (RCC) have agreed on a partnership aimed at improving cybersecurity resilience in Canada\u2019s retail sector.<\/p>\n

The organisations intend to help retailers strengthen their ability to identify and respond to rising cyber threats, including fraud and ransomware.<\/p>\n

Under the arrangement, RCC members will be given access to RH-ISAC\u2019s cybersecurity resources, tools and intelligence-sharing network.<\/p>\n

RCC president and CEO Kim Furlong said: \u201cThis partnership with RH-ISAC will equip our members with the knowledge and support to protect their businesses, their employees, and their customers in today\u2019s unpredictable threat landscape.\u201d<\/p>\n

The collaboration will also include regional workshops focused on training and interaction with cybersecurity specialists.<\/p>\n

These sessions are planned to take place in Vancouver and Toronto this year.<\/p>\n

RH-ISAC president Suzie Squier said: \u201cCybersecurity is no longer just a technical issue; it\u2019s a business imperative. By partnering with Retail Council of Canada, we aim to increase resilience and strengthen cybersecurity among Canadian retailers.\u201d<\/p>\n

Members will also receive access to RH-ISAC\u2019s threat intelligence services, which provide real-time alerts on vulnerabilities, active breaches and wider trends affecting the retail industry.<\/p>\n

In addition, RCC members will be offered a complimentary trial membership with RH-ISAC, enabling them to explore the organisation\u2019s cybersecurity defence framework.<\/p>\n

The partnership is intended to support Canadian retailers with shared intelligence, tools and industry cooperation as they address evolving digital security risks.<\/p>\n
