Melania Trump hosts AI Challenge Awards for educators, students

First lady Melania Trump honored the student winners of the Presidential Artificial Intelligence Challenge National Champion Awards at the White House on June 9.
The challenge involved 20,000 students from 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and Defense Department schools in 10 countries, with students creating over 2,500 projects using artificial intelligence.
Over 2,500 projects tackled various community problems, such as improving school navigation and public safety, and were created by the competitors.
Among the winners were Carrie Robledo from Star Elementary and a team from Cherry Hill High School in New Jersey.
Every student who submitted a compliant project received a Presidential Certificate of Participation.
