Glasgow-headquartered cybersecurity consultancy FullProxy has joined Viatel Technology Group as the Irish technology services business looks to strengthen its cyber capabilities and expand its presence across Scotland and the wider UK.
The acquisition brings together FullProxy’s specialist cybersecurity expertise with Viatel’s services across connectivity, digital infrastructure, managed IT and cybersecurity.
FullProxy said the deal would give it access to greater scale, investment and resources while allowing the company to retain its existing leadership team, brand expertise and consultancy-led approach.
Founded in 2016, FullProxy works with organisations across regulated and security-critical sectors, helping customers improve cyber resilience, manage technology investments and respond to an increasingly complex threat landscape.
The company supports organisations operating across healthcare, government, education, financial services, retail and critical national infrastructure.
FullProxy said its annual revenues had grown by 135% year on year during the past 18 months, alongside continued investment in technical capabilities, customer success and strategic partnerships.
Its consultants hold accreditations covering technologies from companies including F5, Fortinet, Zscaler and AppViewX.
The company has also appeared in techUK’s Tech200 list for two consecutive years and was shortlisted for Scottish Cyber Security Company of the Year in both 2025 and 2026.
Ewan Ferguson, CEO of FullProxy, said: “Over the last decade we’ve built FullProxy around a deeply felt principle: helping customers solve complex cyber security challenges and achieve ROI through expert advice, deep technical capability and long-term trusted relationships.
“The growth we’ve achieved in recent years is a testament to the quality of our people, the trust of our customers and the strength of our partnerships. We are incredibly proud of what the team has built.
“Joining Viatel gives us the opportunity to build on that success. We share the same commitment to customer outcomes, technical excellence and long-term investment. Together, we’ll be able to offer customers even greater capability while continuing to deliver the specialist expertise and personal service they value from FullProxy.”
