Meta Has Released An App For Making Generative AI Games

Meta has soft-launched a new app called Pocket that allows users to create and share their own minigames, often referred to as “vibe-coding.”
The app has been available on both iOS and Android since June 29, though it appears to be in a trial phase and is not available in the US on various phone models.
Mobile developer Alessandro Paluzzi discovered the app and shared details on X, leading to initial reports from TechCrunch.
Pocket is seen as a potential continuation of Meta’s efforts with the Gizmo app, which used AI to create interactive experiences from user prompts.
The Pocket app is currently not publicly announced by Meta, and its availability is limited, as indicated by Meta’s help page that notes it is “not yet available everywhere.”
