Bull and Foxconn Partner to Scale Europe’s Manufacturing Capabilities for Artificial Intelligence Infrastructures

Strategic Collaboration: Bull, an advanced computing and AI company, and Hon Hai Technology Group, also known as Foxconn, a major electronics manufacturer, have announced a strategic collaboration to manufacture AI and Cloud infrastructure.
Manufacturing and Supply Chain Strength: The partnership intends to manufacture AI infrastructure in Europe, combining Bull’s advanced AI systems design and deployment expertise with Foxconn’s extensive global manufacturing capabilities.
European Supply Chain and Competitive Edge: The collaboration aims to establish a resilient European supply chain for AI factories and neo-cloud providers, reducing dependency on external markets and securing competitiveness in cost, quality, and time-to-market.
Investment and Localization: The project is expected to involve an initial investment of over EUR 120 million, with manufacturing and initial testing at Foxconn’s Czech Republic facilities and final integration and validation at Bull’s factory in France.
Next-Generation AI Systems: The partnership will focus on manufacturing next-generation AI servers and systems, incorporating advanced processors and high-performance memory to meet demanding workloads for AI training and inference.
Expanding the European AI Ecosystem: The resulting systems, which can be standalone or rack-level configurations, will support a wide range of users and contribute to the expansion of a scalable AI ecosystem within Europe.
