Film world must not resist rise of artificial intelligence, says Demi Moore

Demi Moore advises embracing artificial intelligence (AI) instead of resisting it, believing that to fight AI is a futile battle.
During a Cannes film festival press conference, Moore expressed concern over whether sufficient measures are in place to protect creators in the face of AI.
Moore asserted that AI cannot replace the human spirit and soul, which are the true sources of art.
Festival president Park Chan-wook emphasized that art and cinema should not be seen as conflicting with politics.
Park highlighted that while films with political statements should not be shunned, those lacking political themes should also not be dismissed if they are not artfully executed.
Moore argued against censoring political expression within art, stating it could stifle creativity and truth.
UK screenwriter Paul Laverty criticized Hollywood for allegedly blacklisting actors who voiced support for the people of Gaza.
