Digg Is Back Again, This Time To Aggregate AI News

Digg has re-launched with a new focus on aggregating news and information about artificial intelligence (AI).
Digg’s CEO, Kevin Rose, stated that the internet has more noise than ever, and Digg aims to filter and present the most valuable information.
The new AI-focused Digg website follows around 1,000 prominent figures in AI research, investment, and media.
Key individuals followed include figures like Elon Musk, Sam Altman from OpenAI, and Jeffrey Dean from Google DeepMind, among others.
As of now, the site is located at di.gg, operating in alpha mode; a move back to digg.com is planned but timing for additional verticals is not disclosed.
Previous attempts at Digg’s return in 2023 failed due to bot attacks, highlighting the challenges Digg is aiming to address this time around.
Kevin Rose has rejoined Digg full-time, with a vision in partnership with Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian to restore the early web’s spirit of discovery.
