Mark Zuckerberg’s Chan Zuckerberg Biohub is embarking on an ambitious mission to cure and prevent all diseases through AI-powered biology and state-of-the-art technology.
The project has announced a $500 million investment to develop AI models of human cells for a five-year plan, aiming to enable advancements in bioscience and possibly eliminate deadly diseases.
Of the $500 million, $400 million will fund AI development directly and the remainder will support third-party researchers.
