Citi Wealth Launches AI Avatar Citi Sky For Clients

Citi Wealth has developed an AI avatar named Citi Sky, powered by Google Cloud and Google DeepMind, to provide market insights and financial guidance.
Citi Sky will be phased in for Citigold clients, who are part of the bank’s premium banking and wealth management tier, starting this summer.
The tool, created using the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform, will be integrated into Citi Wealth platforms in the United States and used alongside traditional financial advisors.
Citi Sky is part of Citi’s ongoing partnership with Google Cloud over the past two years, focusing on using cloud technology and AI to support the bank’s digital strategy.
Initially available in English and Spanish, the avatar will offer financial guidance and market insights and comply with regulatory standards for a secure data foundation.
The firm intends to expand the tool’s capabilities with further partnerships with Google and plans to increase the number of advisors in the future.
According to Citi’s head of wealth, Citi Sky represents a shift from traditional wealth management to a more intelligent, outcome-driven model through conversational financial intelligence.
Google Cloud CEO Thomas Kurian emphasized that the future of financial services hinges on turning large data sets into actionable and personalized financial insights through advanced AI models.
