SAU to host AI workshop series this April | News

Southern Arkansas University is hosting a series of workshops in April focused on practical applications of artificial intelligence (AI).
The workshops are scheduled for April 2, 9, and 16, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. each, held at Blanchard Hall 110 on campus.
The individual session fee is $25, while a discounted rate of $60 covers all three sessions.
There are different sessions with specialized instructors covering various AI applications:
- Session One: “Developing AI Literacy” by Dr. Brianna McCartney focusing on generative AI and its various applications.
- Session Two: “Mastering Prompt Engineering & LLMs” by Dr. Ahmad Al-Shami discussing advanced AI techniques and text generation.
- Session Three: “AI for Business Leaders” by Ms. NaTashia Riley exploring AI’s impact on productivity and business operations.
