IHG taps McDonald’s VP to guide artificial intelligence strategy

IHG Hotels & Resorts has appointed Wei Manfredi as senior vice president of AI and architecture to guide its artificial intelligence strategy.
Manfredi is tasked with enhancing IHG’s technical and data architecture, and fostering partnerships with leading tech firms for an innovative and secure AI approach.
Prior to joining IHG, Manfredi served as vice president of global architecture, data, and generative AI at McDonald’s, and has held leadership roles at Google Cloud, Lululemon, and Visa.
IHG cites Manfredi’s reputation as a top AI leader and one of the 100 most influential AI leaders in America, highlighting her extensive experience in AI-driven strategies for global brands.
