Dublin, Ohio, has implemented an AI-powered lighting system at the intersection of Brand Road and Coventry Woods Drive to enhance pedestrian safety.
The system uses artificial intelligence to detect when pedestrians enter the crosswalk and automatically illuminates them to make them more visible to drivers at night.
The city installed the system after residents expressed safety concerns at this intersection, where speeding and close call incidents were common.
